Thursday Bible Study

Our weekly morning Bible study meets each week on Thursdays at 8am. This study follows study guides that could include short-term or long-term studies, academic books, and more. Like our Explorer Adult Class, leadership comes from within this capable and faithful group. Traditional Worship

Join us at our weekly Worship service here at La Jolla UMC! In an effort to remain welcoming to all persons, worship continues in both an online and in-person format. Masks are optional. Christmas Workshop

Christmas Workshop is fast approaching. The Workshop will be held Saturday, December 7th from 10am until 1pm. Children in 1st through 6th grade can be registered.  Registrations are being handled by Sarilee, so if you have questions, you can contact her. Annual Christmas Concert

La Jolla United Methodist Church proudly presents its annual Christmas Concert on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at 4:00 PM. This year’s theme is Journey to Bethlehem. There is an emphasis on English tradition, carols and composers, including several works by John Rutter. “The First Noel” is interwoven with Pachelbel’s “Canon” for a delightful presentation of this English favorite. The Blue Christmas Service is held on the winter solstice, the longest night of the year. In a season that is supposedly cheerful, merry and bright, there are many who struggle with pain, anxiety, depression and loneliness during the holiday season.
