Marriage is a glorious event here at La Jolla UMC. Our small chapel and larger sanctuary are available to make this a memorable occasion for you. Contact the church office to inquire about fees and procedures. Our pastor and wedding hostess are eager to help make this your special day to remember.
The chapel has a 50 persons seating capacity and is ideal for a small intimate wedding.
The sanctuary has a seating capacity of 375 and is accented by vaulted ceilings and numerous panes of stained glass.
Your wedding reception can be held in our Fellowship Hall which has open wood beam ceilings, a cozy fireplace, a stage, and a floor to ceiling wall of stained glass. When having your wedding at La Jolla UMC, you have access to our pastor, an organist or a pianist on the day of your wedding, a personal wedding hostess, a spacious bridal dressing room, and use of the space for your rehearsal. We also have kneeling benches and candelabras for your use. If you choose to have your reception at La Jolla UMC you will have access to our kitchen preparation area, tables, and chairs.
