The Maundy Thursday celebration is traditionally an honoring of Jesus’ last supper with his disciples. Told in all four of the Gospels, this tradition celebrates the institution of Holy Communion. Ash Wednesday Worship
La Jolla UMC joins the people of Pacific Beach UMC in-person and online for an Ash Wednesday worship service. This will be a time of prayer and song with leaders and musicians guiding us together as we begin the Lenten season. Included in this worship service will be symbolic ways to remember that “from dust we come and to dust we shall return.”

Christmas Workshop
The 2022 edition of our Christmas Workshop will take place Saturday, December 3rd from 10 am until 1 pm. There is still plenty of room for children, K through 6th grade. Summer Pops Concert

La Jolla UMC is proud to host the Mission Bay High School Mambo Orchestra, a student-led performance group presenting traditional and dance music from Cuba, Puerto Rico and Latin American countries.
