Thank you for taking the time to check out the spiritual community of La Jolla United Methodist Church! We hope you will feel welcomed in any way you choose to participate. We are a congregation who loves our church family, and we hope you will too!
Worship
Our Traditional Worship takes place on Sunday mornings at 10am. We join in-person in our Sanctuary each week, and we also offer online Worship including an interactive live chat. Our Worship service follows a fairly traditional order with hymns that we’ll sing together, prayers that we’ll pray together, a scriptural message from one of our Pastors, and more!

Children
Whether we’re worshiping online or in person, we think children and youth are important in the life of this faith community. We have a time for children in our Worship services, as well as other programming and fun designed just for kids!
Parking
If coming south on La Jolla Blvd., turn left on Via Del Norte (one block before the church entrance), then right on Beaumont Ave., right on Mira Monte, and then left on the path to the church parking lot.
If coming north on La Jolla Blvd., turn right on La Canada St. (one block before the church entrance, then left on Beaumont Ave., left on Mira Monte, and then left on the path to the church parking lot.
More Questions?
What if I don’t know about church? What if I have doubts? What if I don’t believe exactly what others believe? What if I grew up in church and have all the hymns memorized already? What if I’ve never been in church before?
All these questions are great! We’re a faith community who believes that God loves us all and asks us to love in return—love God and love each other. Even when we disagree about other stuff, we pretty much all agree on this. Let’s make that our starting point and talk about the rest in love!
