Good Friday is a time to remember the Passion, the interrogation, torture, and crucifixion of Jesus. In the Christian tradition, it is a time of darkness and prayerfulness in authentic consideration of the meaning of the cross in our faith.
In partnership with our siblings in faith from Pacific Beach UMC, we gather for this in-person and online service to pray, reflect, and sit in the sacred stillness of this holy night.
Location & Parking
The service will be held at Pacific Beach UMC (1561 Thomas Ave., at the corner of Ingraham and Thomas). Street parking is available, and designated parking for disabled persons will be available on-site. We encourage attendees to arrive early.
Online Participation
This service will be livestreamed on our livestream page, where you can watch in real time. If you experience technical difficulties, you can also watch directly on Pacific Beach UMC’s YouTube page. A recording will be made available after the service—please check back here for details.
Post-Service Resources
If you are unable to attend the service live, a recording will be made available after the service. Please check back for details. We invite you to take time for personal reflection, prayer, and contemplation as we continue our journey through Holy Week.
