Hello, Book Talkers! We launch our 2024-25 season with three excellent presenters:
Wednesday, October 2, we host Scott Mocha, who is presenting his personal memoir A Row with Two Chairs, about his recovery from alcohol and drug abuse and his personal journey to faith.
On November 6, we welcome back Mark Drozda, who will share another nonfiction book, The Big Rich, about the first big Texas oil tycoons, by Bryan Burroughs.
On December 11 (please note the date change), we will feature our annual holiday book presentation by long time Warwick’s representative Mary Lee Delafield, who will survey some of her favorite reads from the shelves of our fine independent bookstore. To accommodate her display (and sale) of books, we will move this presentation to Fellowship Hall. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear Mary Lee and do some early Christmas shopping!
Except as noted above, all meetings will start at 2pm in the Fireside Library. Bring a friend!
