Join Kathy D. for a new 13-week study of the book of Revelation beginning Monday, Aug 5 at 9:30 a.m. Note that we will be meeting on Mondays this time instead of Wednesdays as before.
So why study Revelation? First, it is a book that most of us are less familiar with, and perhaps a little bit intimidated by because of its confusing imagery and, frankly, occasionally frightening message. A thoughtful reading with some guidance will help us better understand the book. But second, and more importantly, it is a book that provides tremendous hope for the future for all Christians. And we can all use more hope these days!
Why does it provide hope? Because it tells us that Christ is the final victor, and he will come again…
Join us as we review the book of Revelation in a chapter-by-chapter study that will help us understand what it meant to the people at the time it was written, and what it means to Christians today.
We’ll be using the book “Revelation: the Ultimate Hope in Christ” by David Jeremiah. It is available on Amazon for $8.99. The format of this study guide is different than ones we have used previously, and should only take an hour or two per week to complete. It contains the full Biblical text, so you can make notes right in the study guide. But the biggest benefit to participating in this group study is meeting with others who are studying the same questions, and discussing the ideas and thoughts that this book will raise.
So please join us on Monday, August 5, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. If you have any questions, please contact the church office.

Are any of the Bible Studies online? Or transcripts available? I do not live in the area.
Thank you

The Sunday morning Explorers group is both online and in-person, but I’m afraid this Revelation study is not. Contact us in the church office if you’d like to get connected with the Explorers!
