The church’s Fireside Library was established in 1985, by long time church member Martha Bullock. In the past, the library has also served as a storage room, a Sunday school classroom for handicapped children, a Mexican bar, a minister’s office and even a rabbi’s office when a Jewish congregation was being formed in the community.

It is now a facility of the church which serves both church members and Nursery School families as a lending library for children and adults. The library is also a meeting place for church committees and study groups. Children especially enjoy the Tower Room, a cozy retreat with its own book collection as well as puzzles to enjoy.

Included in the collection of more than 5000 volumes are fiction and non fiction books for adults and children. There is a selection of mysteries, books that deal with religious, social and health issues, as well as current events and parenting books. New books are added on a monthly basis.
During the year, monthly Book Talks are held, in which books are reviewed and discussed by book lovers from the church family and the community at large.
