Interfaith Shelter at La Jolla UMC

THANK YOU to ALL who have volunteered to stay all night. We have filled all nights. Also, THANK YOU to you folks who have volunteered to bring a supper to the shelter. We may have only one night that we need another volunteer. If you are still yearning to be a part of this very worthwhile project, you might think of teaming up with one of the supper volunteers, and bring a dessert. We also have four volunteers to help set up on Saturday, December 31. It shouldn’t take more than 3‐4 hours. We have three volunteers to “take down” on Saturday, January 15. We can use more helpers on both of these days. Please call Gene Blickenstaff at 858‐459‐8739 to volunteer.

Adult Sunday School: Explorers Class

All adults are welcome to attend our weekly Explorers class, with coffee and goodies provided! Each week we explore a different topic, usually a current event, and look at it from the point of view of scripture and United Methodist tradition.
